The Director of Auxiliary Programming is responsible for the development,
implementation, and management of a diverse portfolio of auxiliary programs. This
includes overseeing event ticketing, summer camps, facility rentals, and the school
store. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and entrepreneurial individual with
strong leadership skills and a passion for creating enriching experiences.
General Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and nuture a multi-year strategic plan for auxiliary programming to achieve school goals and better leverage La Salle's facilities.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for all auxiliary programs.
- Prepare regular reports on program performance and financial status.
- Collaborate with other school departments to ensure seamless integration of
auxiliary programs.
- Stay informed of best practices and trends in auxiliary programming.
- Work closely with the Admissions Office to identify and follow-up with participants
who have strong potential to convert to student prospects.
Summer Camps
- Establish a comprehensive summer camp program, including academic
enrichment, arts, athletics, and specialized programs that utilize the various
facilities of La Salle Academy.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise camp staff.
- Manage camp registration, logistics, and communication with parents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers.
Event Ticketing
- Manage all aspects of ticketing for major school events including athletic
competitions and performing arts productions.
- Implement ticketing platforms/systems to manage ticket sales, distribution, and revenue reconciliation.
- Recruit staff/volunteers to work at all ticketed events to ensure a seamless experiences to attendees.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize ticket sales.
Facility Rentals
- Develop and implement a strategy for renting school facilities to external organizations that align with strategic objectives.
- Manage rental inquires, contracts, and scheduling.
- Oversee facility preparation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maximize revenue generation through facility rentals.
Academy Shoppe
- Manage all aspects of the school store operations, including inventory management, purchasing, sales, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store revenue and profitability.
- Supervise school store staff and volunteers.
- Ensure the store meets the needs of the La Salle community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of expereience in auxiliary program management, preferrably in an educational setting.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing successful
programs, ideally for elementary and middle school students.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience with event ticketing systems and online platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for providing enriching experiences.
